We fully recognize the new and unexpected challenges our field force is facing in these extraordinary times. The majority of our agents are accustomed to meeting face to face with their prospective clients, a practice that has now become much more problematic given the COVID-19 outbreak. With this challenge in mind, we are pleased to announce that until further notice we are removing the automatic phone interview requirement on final expense sales (ages 50 to 85) done remotely.
In other words, the interview requirements will be the same as what you have been accustomed to if you have been using our mobile application with the point of sale underwriting decision. As a reminder, the telephone interview will only be required if your client is age 71 or older and not found in the prescription databases or if the payor is other than the proposed insured, spouse, or child of the proposed insured.
You will continue to have the same “point of sale decision” functionality that you have been using with your face to face sales. Please see the attached description of the various decisions rendered
